Calm and sunny fully furnished guest annex with balcony in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
The separate annex is adjoining my own living quarters on the 5th floor (walk-up) of a clean safe building (door code and intercom). It has its own separate entrance.
Measuring approximately 35m2 the space comprises :
- a BEDROOM with a real double bed (firm good-quality mattress) and a large wardrobe for storing your belongings.
- a LIVING ROOM equipped with a comfortable sofa-bed for 2, a high table with 4 bar stools, and a TV-DVD.
- a KITCHENETTE equipped with a washing machine, fridge, mini oven, microwave, electric cook top, toaster, kettle, cutlery, plates, etc)
- a BATHROOM equipped with a shower with good water pressure and a hair-dryer.
- separate TOILETS
- a BALCONY facing South that runs down the whole length of the annex.
The guest flat is equipped with:
* high-speed fibre-optic internet
* DVD and blue ray player
The building itself is a 5 minute walk to Marcadet-Poissoniers metro, which is 3 stops from Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and Abbesses (Montmatre-Sacre Coeur).
Several inexpensive markets and shops are just downstairs.
The immediate neighbourhood is a melting pot of ethnic cultures, similar to Brixton (UK) or East Village (NYC) so a far cry from the cliché touristy St Germain/Latin Quarter images you may be used to, but a must for those seeking an authentic Parisian experience.
