Sunny fully-furnished guest annex in 18th arrondissement available for rent short-term (min stay 7) or medium-term (upto 6 months). Ideal for a couple.
The private living space measures 38m2 and comprises a small bedroom overlooking the courtyard (very quiet), a living room which leads onto a small balcony facing South (big enough to have breakfast for 2 on !), a well-equipped kitchen and a 'real' bathroom (bathtub equipped with shower).
I work in interior decoration and the flat features hardwood floors, white walls and some interesting decorative features (lighting is my speciality !). Most of the artwork on the wall is by friends.
At your disposal : WIFI, washing machine and hundreds of books (literature is my passion ad there are plenty of works in both French & English).
The suite is on the 5th floor (no lift) of a clean, safe building (door code and intercom) and has its own separate entrance (I live right next door with my own entrance)
The building itself is a 5 min walk to Marcadet-Poissoniers metro, 3 stops from Abbesses (Montmatre-Sacre Coeur).
Several inexpensive markets and shops are just downstairs.
The immediate neighbourhood is a melting pot of ethnic cultures, similar to Brixton (UK) or East Village (NYC) so a far cry from the cliché touristy St Germain/Latin Quarter images you may be used to, but a must for those seeking an authentic Parisian experience.
