In the heart of the Verdon Natural Regional Park within walking distance to the picturesque village of Aiguines, this peaceful holiday home can host a group of up to six people.
The house has three bedrooms (two with double beds, one with a single bed with an extra pullout bed) and an open loft above the common living area with one queen-size bed, a working space and a library. The house is not toddler-proof but a portable crib is available. There is no A/C but a portable fan in every room plus a large ceiling fan in the living room that helps to keep the house cool in the summer. The house has two toilets, one shower, one bathtub, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The kitchen is small but equipped with all the necessary appliances and the outdoor gas barbecue allows for an extended outdoor cooking area. The large living-dining room opens to a shaded, tiled terrace with outdoor seating. There is a beautiful view of the lake and mountains from the living area, the terrace and the 1400m2 garden. One paddle-board with accessories is available, which allows for guests to enjoy the Gorges outside of the busy times when boat rental companies open.

The 200m access road to the house is unpaved and not suited for low ground clearance vehicles (ie. sports cars). If required, there is free parking and electric car charger in the village of Aiguines (5mn walk).

The Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte Croix are famous for their natural beauty in the heart of Provence. This area is the perfect playground for a wide range of outdoor activities such as canyoning, paddle-boarding, swimming, sailing, hiking, rock climbing, paragliding and so much more. The lake is a 30-minute walk along one of many hiking paths leaving directly from the house (or a 10-minute drive).

The picturesque village of Aiguines is considered the gateway to the Gorges du Verdon. The village offers breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and of the Plateau de Valensole with its famous lavender fields. There are several restaurants, shops, and a general store supplemented by the Tuesday market during the summer months. The village is particularly known for woodturning, with a number of local artisans and a small museum. There are many other beautiful villages to visit in the surrounding areas including Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Aups, Tourtour, etc.
